Moving from exhaustion and stuckness into resilience and empowered action
Group Journeys through online & in person Workshop Series, Weekend Immersions and Retreats.
This space is for those who long to live and work in a way that honors life, interbeing, wholeness, deep connection, and courageous presence.
The aspiration to share this Resilience & Empowerment Work with you comes from having seen myself and so many of my peers in the field of systems change & healing work falling into exhaustion, despair, overwhelm, frozenness in the face of the growing disruption and divides: ecological, social and spiritual.
This work is nourished by my training and facilitation experience on the Work That Reconnects, Decolonizing Minds, Awareness and Compassion based tools for Engaged Spirituality and Strategic Leadership towards Sustainability.
Through group work we experience the transformation of despair and overwhelm into inspired action.
The premises I stand on are:
- Finding a refuge of loving presence within, supports us to show up for our world without falling apart in the face of suffering.
- Emotional & Grief Work is essential for us to be able to access our inner strength and show up for our world, as they beautifully put it “Unblocking occurs when our pain for the world is not only acknowledged, but experienced.” (Coming Back to Life, Joanna Macy & Molly Brown).
- Safe and brave spaces where we immerse in vulnerable work are essential. The more I navigate the complexity of life, the clearer I see that what we, humans, long for is to feel connected. And when we feel connected in our relationships, we have a greater capacity to be in service of life. In other words, when we are loved we become warriors in the service of Mother Earth.
- Grounding ourselves in gratitude and our love for our world is essential. Seeing the beauty in and around is a way of resourcing.
- Unlocking creativity and imagination are essential to dare to dream of the world our hearts know is possible.
- Stepping into Deep time is essential, as in know deeply that the present moment contains the past and the future. Honouring our ancestors of all times and shapes and showing up for the generations to come. “Refresh our spirits and inform our minds by experiencing our present lives within larger contexts of time.” (Coming Back to Life, Joanna Macy & Molly Brown).
