Hello, my name is Daniela,
thank you for being here!

I find joy and purpose in holding space. I facilitate individual and group journeys that invite a PAUSE to practice ways to cultivate wellbeing and empowerment. Sharing tools and processes for inner transformation for the benefit of individuals and our living earth. I blend my practice, training and facilitation experience and work mostly with Insight Meditation, Mindfulness and Compassion-based tools, the Work That Reconnects (Deep Ecology), Engaged Buddhism and Leadership for Systems Change.

I am a quotes’ lover
“Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom.” — Viktor E.Frankl
“ Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing, there is a field. I’ll meet you there. (…)” — Rumi
“Meditation is not to escape from society, but to come back to ourselves and see what is going on. Once there is seeing, there must be acting. With mindfulness we know what to do and what not to do to help.” — Thich Nhat Hanh

I am moved by our capacity to
CHOOSE how we relate to our experience and to the world around us; CONNECT with fellow humans and inspire each other to act on behalf of life; TRANSFORM through powerful questions and deep inquiry and DRIVE CHANGE towards the world our hearts know is possible

about me

I am a nomadic being born on the volcanic island of Tenerife, Canary Islands. Home travels with me and is formed by all the places that have welcomed and nourished me so far. I am a learner of the unfolding of life. My teachers are all the places that have hosted me; the cultures I’ve surrounded myself with; the people I’ve encountered on my path; an ongoing deep process of inner inquiry and at the center, my spiritual practice. All of these experiences shape who I am today and what I offer. Since a very early age I rejoice is hosting people, in listening to their stories and in offering my presence. And my curiosity for human behaviour and cultures have had me travelling, experiencing different jobs and living in different countries since 2013. In 2019, my ikigai crystallized: my work can’t be separated from my inner calling to be in service to love through holding space for transformation and healing. So that is what I am up to since then. As I deepen my own process, I hold the space for others too. I work in English and Spanish. I also get along with Chinese Mandarin.
my deepest calling

is to unlearn everything that prevents me from being the genuine expression of our nature: Love · which is also what I call reconnect to Source · and encourage those I come in contact with to do the same. I believe that when we choose to re-open our hearts and embody love, we start to integrate all parts of our being, we start to heal and to transform into whole versions of ourselves. And a world of whole versions of ourselves seems to me at the core of living in harmony with oneself and within the Earth community. As we heal ourselves, we also join in some way the healing of our world and open the door to experience oneself as nature, potentially igniting our core responsibility to take care of Mother Earth. The more I navigate the complexity of life, the clearer I see that what we, humans, long for is to be seen and heard, to feel connected. And when we feel connected in our relationships, we have a greater capacity to be in service of life. In other words, when we are loved we become warriors in the service of Mother Earth.
formal & informal training

My journey with spiritual wisdom began (unknowingly) in childhood, watching my father’s quiet discipline and genuine embodiment of equanimity and through living in close connection with the Natural World. Meditation was something I was curious about and tried here and there until it became a regular practice after attending a 10-day Goenka Vipassana retreat and spending a month in Myanmar practicing with Theravāda monks and nuns in 2019. I found home in the Buddha Dhamma.
